• ALL people who buy machetes and other dangerous weapons should have to give photographs of themselves for identify purposes in case the knives are used as weapons.

At the moment there is no come-back for the purchaser who buys a knife for someone else. So knives need to be stamped with identification numbers, so that there is a feedback procedure to source.

Otherwise youngsters can get an older friend to buy for them in the same way they do with cigarettes.
