It’s not just the C2 bus route that’s being hit

• IT’S not just the C2 bus route that’s being hit by Transport for London’s plans, (The salami slicing of our bus services must stop, October 4), as there’s also a proposal to cut the 134 short at Euston Road, along with numerous other changes and rerouting of buses across central London, many of which will complicate journeys as direct routes are truncated and more people have to change buses to get from A to B.

The C2 “consultation” is closed, but the other changes are still open for comment to November 9, with details at: consultations.tfl.gov.uk/buses/central-london/.

Even though this section of the website lets passengers comment on their plans, you’d have hoped TfL would have publicised such wide-ranging changes with a clear publicity campaign, maybe using posters on bus stops and shelters (or advertisements in the New Journal) to ask for views… unless, of course, as Mr Sepetkowski suggests, they’re hoping nobody notices until it’s too late.
