It was Corbyn’s opposers who were the extremists

Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn
• UNFORTUNATELY some of us in the Labour Party experienced first-hand just how undemocratic, racist, bullying, and, frankly, evil the behaviour of the some of the right-wing members of the party has been since Jeremy Corbyn won his first leadership contest, a result the faction never accepted.
In the light of the 850-page report that was leaked with a litany of evidence of this behaviour from right-wing factional staff at Labour headquarters between 2015 and 2019, we may finally be believed about how truly awful it was.
This is particularly painful for those of us who were accused of being extremists for supporting Corbyn’s socially and economically progressive policies, when it turns out it was Corbyn’s opposers who were the extremists.
The staff named in the report, with high salaries paid by hard-working members, were allegedly the cause of anti-Semitism complaints not being handled to deliberately create a crisis for the party, the attempt to remove Corbyn undemocratically and illegally, targeting Corbyn supporters for trivial reasons on social media while letting their own faction act because of their personal hatred of Corbyn and his allies.
Members are looking for justice and call on Sir Keir Starmer to immediately suspend them pending the investigation he has proposed.
