Major HS2 works have become a common sight 

• SO High Speed 2 in Euston is the land-grab that we had always supposed.

If not, the new HS2 station would have been built not alongside but above the existing Euston station that has always been at famously low level.

Then people and activities would not have been unhoused and we would still have the St James Gardens and children’s playground rather than hoardings painted with the flowers that we miss.
