Paris roads seem so quiet and courteous

• LIKE many people living in W1 I am dismayed by the selfishness of the cycle / scooter / skateboard fraternity.

On a recent week in Paris I was surprised how quiet the roads were.

In the past the streets were usually full of traffic; but now it has lots of cyclists and scooters and all on the roads observing the traffic lights and being very courteous.

If it works well in Paris why not in London?
