Lord’s Cricket Ground, one of the centres in Westminster offering Covid-19 vaccinations

• I RECEIVED my vaccination one week ago in the hallowed space generally known only to cricket-lovers, and was impressed by the efficiency.

I had no wait at all and, having allowed good time to get there, was checked in, and vaccinated, and out, before my appointed time.

As to the venue, the courtyard and staircases were wide, and the operation room was large, airy, with high ceilings, and the vaccinators’ desks well-spaced.

In the photograph of what Alina Baxter describes as a queue, I noted three plus a marshall; two further individuals are walking away from the entrance, (Lord’s fails the jabs test! January 22).

The fact that it was a wet day was unlucky but hardly within Westminster’s control.
