‘Bikes need to be licensed and cyclists should have to pass a proficiency test’

• I HAVE a problem with bad cyclists.

More and more ride along the pavement causing pedestrians to jump out of the way. Cyclists on the road go everywhere as if there is no care or attention, and most are not insured.

If the government want to get the public to cycle, then each bike need to be licensed and each cyclist should have passed a proficiency test and certificate. And hire cycles should not be dumped on the pavement to menace blind people.
