I feel betrayed by the surrender and the traitors!

• CONSTANTINE Buhayer (Insights from the public gallery, October 3) and all the other people who have criticised Boris Johnson for using language that is inflammatory should actually look up what the words mean.

I, a leave voter who has never felt more strongly that we should leave that corrupt, protectionist organisation, definitely feel betrayed.

I consider the legislation against a no-deal a complete surrender of our sovereignty, our ability to make laws that suit us, not us and 27 other countries, to make our own trade deals with non-EU countries, whether it suits Brussels or not and to make economic and other decisions that benefit those living and working in Britain.

To me, those fighting to stop a no-deal have actually prevented a good deal happening and are therefore traitors to this country. And I do not consider anything I have said in this letter to be inflammatory.
