Housing associations don’t seem able to tackle bad neighbours

• WHAT’S the answer to endemic anti-social behaviour and noise nuisance especially in so-called social housing?
Having been a housing trust tenant for in excess of 30 years, the solution would appear to be insurmountable.
Employing the complaint process is stressful enough, never mind the noise from inconsiderate neighbours.
What I’m talking about is usually avoidable, banging doors, music being played loudly, people shouting, hanging over balconies at the same time, disregarding tenancy regulations etc.
There are significant advantages in social housing yet some take it for granted. And overcrowding has seen, families “doubling up” to save money and this is increasingly common.
Housing associations appear incapable of dealing effectively with tenants who make their neighbours feel threatened.
