Harrington: Not bad curry
Reviewer seeking capital’s worst cafés and restaurants gets a surprise

Harrison Webb at Mumtaz in Park Road
FOOD reviewers on YouTube have found that you can get just as many – if not more – views from reviewing terrible cafés and restaurants, as from Cordon Bleu dining experiences.
Harrison Webb has built a huge following by eating at London’s worst fish and chip shops, fried chicken joints, dirty tourist traps, and so on.
One of his latest uploads is: I Tried the Worst Curries in London.
Harrison bases these choices on poor Google reviews – which led him to Mumtaz, one of the city’s oldest curry houses, just up from Baker Street.
Viewers were all set for the usual moans about yellow things being white, tender things being tough, and dry things being too oily… but no.
Credit to the young lad – he had no real problems with his dinner, and he told his 1.3 million subscribers so.
The only gripes seemed to be about the décor and the service.
Surely we can all live with that for a Friday night curry.
