IT is coming up to the fifth anniversary of the day clubland lost one of its favourite sons: the DJ Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson.

Harrington is now too old to keep up with the disco music which once rang through my ears into the early hours.

But, back in the day, it was people like Trouble who helped broaden out the beats so you didn’t need to be a slipmat know-it-all to fall in love with house music.

With Gordon Mac, he pushed out the tunes in the early days of Kiss FM – showing us there was more to life than the boring pop charts.

He had first been spotted by Mac DJ-ing at the old Crackers club in Soho. Good times with a legend on the decks. May both Edward, above, and Paul long rest in peace.
