AL Lanah Pillay was one of the stars of the show at the winter concert at the actors’ church in Covent Garden.

The singer-songwriter sang When a Child is Born to a packed audience at St Paul’s.

“Britain holds some of the greatest talents and artistes on the whole planet and to be giving our services for free to support Ella’s charity is so incredibly humbling and such a worthwhile reason to don one of my thousand-dollar gowns,” Al Lanah said.

The Musical Theatre Christmas featured a range of “all-star” performers from the West End and proceeds from £60 tickets went to Ella’s charity, supporting women rescued from exploitation.
