Donald Trump… an ordinary Joe

• TO sum up, Donald Trump cannot accept election defeat because when he becomes an ordinary citizen (an ordinary Joe?), reality will impinge.

He owes $1.1billion, will be prosecuted for criminal offences, tax fraud, improper loans, faces sexual assault cases, Melania’s divorce proceedings, the end of his quotidian cavalier approach to the truth (demonisation of all opposition in self-adoring tweets, bitter divisiveness, toxic populism, and glamorisation of bullying, misogyny, racism, nepotism, corruption, cruelty and lies).

Reeking revenge and sabotage appeal to the president with the most limited vocabulary ever; and he may not understand it but the boasting, brand-building “chosen one” is not the charming Peter Sellers of Being There but a paranoid, sociopathic, deluded narcissist in a “reality show” detached from reality.

And one who so fears any challenges from the world’s “agents of fake news”, he would prefer to destroy democracy in the next two months. He will fail.
