A SINGING Strictly judge, family rave, ska and Latin music festivals and unique live music and club nights for every day of the week – your toughest task is to choose wisely. Here’s a little flavour of what’s coming up…

Better known for his dancing skills and playing the villain in Strictly, Craig Revel Horwood brings his Revelations – Songs Boys Don’t Sing show to Union Chapel on April 26 to celebrate the release of his debut solo album. Promising big songs, tall tales, and glamour, Craig has chosen songs that have been traditionally associated with female singers.

• Jacob Banks brings his tour to a close at The Forum on April 23 – as he presents music from his multi-faceted Yonder anthology series. Support from Amie Blu.

For parents who want to introduce their children to the joys of garage, house and drum ‘n’ bass in a proper club setting, head down to Ministry of Sound where Raver Tots hosts two shows on April 26 featuring special guest Artful Dodger – all ages welcome! Expect dancers, performers, pyro effects, festival-sized confetti blasts, multicolored lasers, lighting and face painting.

• Musician Ciara Haidar assembles some of the UK’s most talented artists to raise funds for the people of Palestine at Jazz Café on April 28. With all proceeds going directly to Medical Aid For Palestinians (MAP), Live For Palestine will feature one-off live performances from  Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Bill Ryder-Jones, Betty, Attawalpa, Ciara Haidar and DJ sets from Faris Badwan (The Horrors); The Waeve; Eliza and Harry James (SCP).

Continuing its shows dedicated to celebrating influential genres, Jazz Café hosts A History of Jungle with Congo Natty as he explores the evolution of the genre on Easter Sunday (April 20).

• Take a moment to ponder mortality on Easter Sunday as Iamthemorning perform songs about death and dying at The Camden Club (April 20).

Roundhouse Three Sixty Festival continues with more unique shows including Roundhouse Song Circle with Tom Odell ft Chisara Agor, Flȃneuse, Geo Aghinea, Kai Bosch & Saachi Sen (April 21);  RISE: Past, Present and Future Talent, curated by Nitin Sawhney and ft special guests including Grammy-nominated British vocal ensemble VOCES8, former winner of Musician of the Year awards (Folk) Seckou Keita and the National Children’s Choir of Great Britain (April 22) and Corinne Bailey Rae presents Black Rainbows with Guildhall Session Orchestra (April 27).

• Drum ‘n’ bass DJ and producer Goldie promises a harder, more club oriented show as he plays classics and new material accompanied by a live band at four sold out shows at Ronnie Scott’s on April 22-23.

York band Elliot Minor are returning to the stage after more than a decade as they bring their classically influenced rock to Koko on April 25 with promises of new music.

• La Linea Latin Music Festival begins this month with an entrancing performance from Buena Vista Social Club star Eliades Ochoa at Barbican on April 22. The festival, which runs across a number of venues until May 5, features an eclectic selection of Latin talent including the likes of Rodrigo Cuevas, Islington Assembly Hall (April 23) and Francisco, El Hombre marking their 10th anniversary with a farewell show and ft Babo Moreno at Jazz Café (April 26).

London International Ska Festival returns with four days of ska, rocksteady, reggae, dub and 2 Tone. The line-up includes Maroon Town “High & Dry” 35th anniversary show + more, The Camden Assembly (April 17); Crawdaddy Club night, The Fiddler’s Elbow; The Beat ft Ranking Jr + The Kubricks + DJ Nanker P (Time Tunnel), 100 Club; Zion Train, Camden Assembly (April 18); Pauline Black – A 2 Tone Story film screening + Q&A with Pauline Black, 100 Club; Jah Wobble – Metal Box In Dub + DJ Wrongtom presenting Spiky Dread vol. 1 & 2, 100 Club; Pama Int’l Trojan Songbook plus many more, Electric Ballroom; We Got Killers club night, The Dublin Castle (April 19); Dennis “Blackbeard” Bovell and Macka B & The Roots Ragga Band plus Open The Gate Sound, 100 Club; The London Int’l Ska Festival Social Club & Record Shop, Camden Assembly; Potato 5 Meets Intensified, Camden Assembly (April 20).

• Nineties R&B Group Eternal play Scala on April 30.
