Grey squirrels to be culled

• GREY squirrels are not native, they have driven out our own red ones to small protected islands in the UK, (Squirrel cull in parks is nuts, says animal campaign group, October 3).

They also definitely kill and eat fledglings. I had a robin’s nest with young in it in the trellis of my garden. I saw a grey squirrel find it, thought no more.

The next day the parent birds were flying around in distress, the nest was empty. From then on I have supported culling.
