Kentish Town FC players raised vital funds for their club by taking part in the Jubilee Hall Trust’s ‘Run for Your Life’ event

PLAYERS, parents and coaches from Kentish Town FC put in a real team effort on Saturday when they swapped football pitches for an energy-sapping fun run around Parliament Hill Fields.

Joining the Jubilee Hall Trust’s “Run for Your Life” event on Hampstead Heath, youngsters whizzed around either a 2k or 5k course in a bid to help raise vital funds for their club.

Praising the turnout, Town chairman Thomas Looney said: “Massive thanks to everyone that turned up for the annual fun run. It’s the third year that we’ve done it, and every year we get more and more kids and parents involved in the event.

“It’s a great way to raise money for the club and also a great way for all our kids and adults to spend time together outside of football. We are more than just a football club – we are a football family!”
