THERE were spirited comebacks, penalty shootouts and goals aplenty on Saturday as teams chased silverware on a day of cup finals and title deciders in the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League.
Among the winners were Somers Town-based side Plot 10, who beat Primrose Hill 2-0 thanks to goals from Lee Warman and Amin El-Harti to clinch the Under-12s Seven-A-Side Cup – and with it a memorable league and cup double.
The Hill also picked up two trophies. Striker Daniel Wax scored both goals as they overcame Islington-based London Soccer Stars (LSS) 2-0 to win the Under-9s “B” Cup, while strikes from Ollie Kramer and Charlie Lewis sealed a 2-0 win over Just Play Lions in the Under-11s “B” League Cup final.

LSS had good reason of their own to celebrate as they beat Rugby Portobello Trust FC 4-2 to capture the Under-10s “A” Cup.
