Walk on the grass – perhaps daringly barefoot!

• I HAVE taken to walking the Royal Parks – Hyde Park, Green Park and St James’s and I find other users, joggers, walkers and cyclists pleasingly observant of the rules.

However it is very “British” not to walk on the grass so, at times, the narrow paths do become busy.

Given these unusual circumstances we should all consider walking on the grass where appropriate – perhaps daringly barefoot!
