Will Rishi Sunak be looking for a house-sitter?

• WHEN Rishi Sunak departs for Santa Monica a few weeks after the election, which he surely will, his mansion in his by-then ex-constituency will be empty and need a house-sitter, if only to water the plants and feed the cat.

Does anyone know how to apply? I’m reasonably house-trained, and a bit old to be throwing any more parties.

I’ve been told he has a heated swimming pool as well, which would be excellent for my arthritis. l would send my CV to No 10 but I’m not sure he’ll have time read it. Too busy packing.
