‘Boris Johnson using his power to continue his personal fight against Sadiq Khan’
• I AM a 71-year-old key worker.
The suggestion the Conservative government is considering abolishing the railcards for under-21s and the Freedom Pass is spiteful, vindictive, and will adversely affect those who want and need to study or work in the capital.
This is an example of prime minister Boris Johnson using his power to continue his personal fight against the mayor Sadiq Khan to the detriment of Londoners and visitors alike.
If I am unable to use my Freedom Pass I may not be able to provide my services to assist London. Users of Transport for London services pay the highest prices to use public transport of any capital city in the world.
This is blatantly unfair and is a purely personal and political stance.
