• THE solution to commissioner Sir Mark Rowley’s problem of hundreds of criminal police officers who can’t be sacked but are confined to barracks because they are not safe interacting with the public, and hundreds of equally unsafe dogs, would be to deploy these officers on dangerous dog duty.

Whether the rogue dogs or the rogue officers prevail is immaterial because either way it’s a result for the rest of us.
