‘It seems that once people are fully vaccinated they become less careful’

• WE know vaccine is working, and helping people not to get serious symptoms. And people want to travel abroad, fair enough.

But what I am finding hard to understand is the government’s decision on no need to self-isolate even if you come back from amber list countries if you tested negative before departure and are fully vaccinated.

On the surface it sounds correct but, in fact, even if you are fully vaccinated you can still get a positive result.

My friend’s acquaintance did not realise that they had been infected, although fully vaccinated, and kept working, which might have affected other people.

You may not get seriously ill but you can infect others at any time whether you are fully vaccinated or not. It seems that once people are fully vaccinated they become less careful.

That is why I do not understand why the government put ease on only fully vaccinated people. Why?
