Coram's Fields

Coram’s Fields

• CORAM’S Fields should be a showcase for London, but it feels tired and unloved.

Where have the animals gone?

Why is there a large patch of ground fenced-off?

Why was the paddling pool painted with the wrong paint, which flaked off, and then left as is?

Why is this extraordinary place not at all what it should be?

Perhaps it needs more involvement and engagement with and ideas from children themselves. It seems unlikely that it needs more corporate events.

Those entrusted with the temporary care of this remarkable resource must remember who they serve: the children of today and the children of the future.

They should be ashamed.
