• READERS will no doubt recall that in November it was confirmed the front desk of Belgravia police station was shutting down.

However the Mayor of London hasn’t confirmed whether the building will continue to be used for police work.

For too long residents have been kept in the dark and they deserve answers from Sadiq Khan. Will the station be closed down entirely?

I will continue to encourage the mayor to provide some clarity. Sadiq Khan is presiding over a crime epidemic but he refuses to take responsibility and constantly passes the buck.

Londoners need a strong police presence more than ever, yet this mayor closing police stations at the same time as spending millions more on his own policing bureaucrats at City Hall. London deserves better.
