• I VISITED a supposed coronavirus Covid-19 test centre close by in north London, only to find absolutely nothing.

I’ve been trying to get a test on the gov.uk site multiple times a day for a week now, with no luck. I’ve also been told by the helpline that there’s nothing they can do to help, and just to keep on trying the website.

I’m a care worker who’s now having to take two weeks of unpaid leave because no one can provide me with a test to prove that it’s safe for me to work, let alone go for shopping.

I can’t understand why we haven’t been prioritised for testing – as a result of this I’m only going to have around £550 or so for my salary this month.

Clap for carers eh? This country is a total joke.
