Celebrate Chinese New Year at The Brunswick
The Brunswick is kicking off the Year of the Wood Snake with a spectacular celebration on Thursday 30th January, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. This thrilling, FREE event will feature a vibrant array of performances and activities for all ages, making it an unmissable event at the centre.
Wednesday, 15th January

This year the centre has planned an even more exciting lineup of entertainment, featuring two traditional Chinese lion performers, gigantic pandas, God of Wealth performers, Big Dolly Head performances, and incredible stilt walkers. Visitors can also enjoy live music and dramatic drumming performances.
The Brunswick offers a diverse range of Asian-inspired dining options. Artisan Asian bakery ‘Fatty Cat’ has just opened at the centre, serving both traditional and creative pastries and breads alongside specialty coffee. Patisserie Millie also sells an exquisite blend of Eastern and Western-inspired cakes, while Dage Noodles serves up delicious claypot noodles and skewers.
Fans of bubble tea can visit Truedan and T4, and Tian Tian Market brings a wide selection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese food. Hare & Tortoise is a firm favourite with visitors, offering handmade sushi, ramen noodles, fried rice, and more, while itsu sells healthy, Asian inspired food. Beauty lovers can also explore Glam Touch, the ultimate destination for K-beauty, which features makeup essentials and innovative skincare products.
In addition to the entertainment, select stores and restaurants will offer exclusive Chinese New Year promotions on the night including Funland, Bex Coffee, Brunswick Bookshop, Riding House Bloomsbury and Nostimo. These offers will be detailed in free fortune cookies which will be handed out to visitors by the centre.
