‘Bins, not Boris: Is this the new Tory slogan?’

• THE other day two Conservative councillors came to my door to inform me that we are to be North Pimlico from next year.

Why North Pimlico? Why not South Belgravia, the original title for the area?

The councillors, two extremely pleasant women, did not really know so I assume that this was a decision arrived at by some committee or other.

The two Conservative councillors were keen to tell me that their visit was about – and I quote – “Bins, not Boris.”

My question to you, as their opposition: Is this the new Tory slogan? If not, it should be! Bins, not Boris.
