• EIGHTEEN months to assess the Covid room’s elephant: is life about increased productivity, shopping, material possessions?
Or is Thoreau’s Walden (1854) the epiphany, an account of self-isolation, how to embrace solitude without “feeling lonely”, a fulfilling life with less stuff, serenity through more privacy, attuning our minds to the essentials, contemplating what genuinely makes us happy, shedding what stresses us out, rid of unnecessary clutter?
Only asking.
