An air of entitlement and complacency

‘I wonder if Lady Robathan still thinks that the Marble Arch Mound is a ‘cult classic’?’
• I WAS pleased with the results of the local elections as, after 58 years of Conservative rule, it is surely time for a change in Westminster.
One party being permanently in charge is unhealthy for our democracy and after previous attempts by Conservative administrations to fix the vote in their favour – I refer you to Shirley Porter – Labour’s win is justified.
Although I am no longer a party member, as I wish to be politically independent, I voted Labour last Thursday for the reasons stated above.
The Westminster Conservatives have long given off an air of entitlement and complacency. I wonder if Lady Robathan still thinks that the Marble Arch Mound is a “cult classic”?
It seems that, rather than Labour having an electoral mountain to climb, it was really more of a mound.
Special congratulations to Councillor Paul Dimoldenberg who has surely earned a place in the council cabinet after all these years of public service.
