• CLIMATE activists must try to understand that while gluing themselves to motorways and letting car tyres down is awfully good fun and jolly exciting, until China and India, to name just two, are prepared to completely change their ways – and there is no sign of that happening at all – all we will do by pursuing net-zero is to bankrupt our economy.

And destroy our industry, what little is left, and impoverish the entire country, something that is already well under way. Make yourself useful by thinking of a way around this problem instead of throwing hissy fits.
