A simple question at the referendum but not so simple questions now for the Brextremists…

• IT is fully realised my not being very enthusiastic about the result of the European Union referendum makes me an enemy of the people, undemocratic, talking the United Kingdom down, traitor to the country and a host of other such remarks (perhaps one of the Brextremists could fill in any perceived gaps here for me).
Brexiteers are very fond telling us is that the ballot paper at the time of the referendum asked a simple question. Many comments made before the actual vote were made by Brexiteers and quoted in support of the Brexit case; but this plainly overlooks that none of them were included on the ballot paper.
This, of course, includes that a Brexit vote would: bring in that regular £350million for the National Health Service; bring back parliamentary sovereignty to the UK; and that we are going to have a wonderful time trading under World Trade Organisation rules post-Brexit.
Perhaps a Brextremist could tell me where a crystal-ball of the type they are consulting can be obtained or is it not really the case that the post-Brexit position is extremely uncertain to say the least?
Taking up the £350million subject, could it be suggested whatever the amount of the final “divorce” bill coming our way that it could be paid off at the rate of £350million a week?
As to parliamentary democracy, and getting our laws and borders back, it has been very obvious that this has to be on Brextremist terms or not at all. Those who are anti-Brexit would do well to look at the nature of the politics of the leading lights of the Brexit movement.
