Sir Keir Starmer

• I AM writing to bring to your attention my concerns regarding the apparent bias of Sir Keir Starmer towards Israel.

In recent public statements and actions, it has become evident that this Labour Party leader may not be maintaining a fair and balanced stance when it comes to Israel and its policies.

He has stated that Israel has the right to cut off food and water supplies from Palestinians in Gaza. This is a shocking statement from a leader of a party with left-wing roots and built off the backs of trade unions and the working class.

I would urge residents to remember this betrayal when the general election is near. At least with the Tories, they do not hide their disdain for those less well off!
