A guide to playing surfaces from MyLocalPitch

FOOTBALL fans who want to do more than just watch the beautiful game from their sofas are being given a helping hand to get active in 2018.

Organisers behind MyLocalPitch, a Holborn-based search and booking portal for grassroots sports venues, have put together guides highlighting some of the pitches available in Camden and Islington.

With the ongoing mission of getting more people into sports, their website and app helps players find and book the nearest venues in 16 different activities, including badminton, football, tennis, cricket, squash, hockey and swimming.

MyLocalPitch co-founder Jamie Foale, said: “We launched to enable people to get active and play their favourite sports, providing easy and cheap access to pitches and courts using innovative technology.

“Our platform continues to expand and we ­welcome venues and players to join our grassroots mission during 2018 and beyond.”
