We all need a raise. I’m retired and still work part-time on a zero-hours basis (like millions of others) and haven’t had a raise for five years. If you don’t or can’t turn up for work – no pay. How are they supposed to cope?

I therefore fully support the government’s new policy whereby a minimum service must run on these days. The inconvenience to everyone will still be there so the unions will still be achieving their aim. Their current behaviour is just greedy, arrogant, and self-serving and I definitely don’t support them.
